Bond & End of Lease Cleaning

Before your lease ends, you need to have the property thoroughly cleaned including carpets and conduct an end of lease spray if animals are present, or have been present during the term of the lease. It is also called, exit cleaning or end of lease cleaning.

Anyone can conduct a bond clean on exiting a rental property, however carpet cleaning must be conducted by a professional carpet cleaner and the end of lease spray needs to be conducted by a licenced pest controller.

To get your bond back, you need to have the property cleaned from top to bottom and not every tenant is aware of this (especially those who are renting out for the first time). Unfortunately not all tenants are aware of the level of detail required to pass an exit inspection by the agent / owner.
